STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS
Before a project reaches the construction phase, a structural engineer will carry out structural calculations to plan out the foundations of a project. This vital stage occurs after planning has been approved and you're ready to start the building control phase. Typically this process will detail key information such as foundation measurements, the required materials, structural works and any potential risks so all health and safety requirements are met.

Stage 1
Initial Meeting & Brief
If you don't require planning permission, they you will be able to appoint a structural engineer from the start. Otherwise, once we've helped you achieve planning permission, we'll put you in touch with our trusted team of structural engineers who you'll need for the next phase of the design.
Stage 2
Structural Engineer Site Survey
When you're happy to proceed, a member of our team will visit the property to undertake the necessary checks and assess the infrastructure and condition of the building. We'll also check the measurements to ensure that future drawings will be accurate.
Stage 3
Structural Drawings & Calculations
Once we've got the relevant information that we need at the site survey, we'll go ahead and produce all the structural drawings and calculations you'll need for building control. We'll make any last checks to make sure that nothing needs to be ammended.
Stage 4
Ready To Build
Once you've successfully gone through the building control phase and you've got all your documents together, now it's time to begin construction!
